What is Scalar?
Developed by The Alliance for Networking Visual Culture at USC, Scalar is a free, open source authoring and publishing platform that’s designed to make it easy for authors to write long-form, born-digital scholarship online.
How do I get Scalar?
- You can have the Scalar project at USC host your publication. Visit scalar.usc.edu/scalar and click "Sign up" on the right.
- You can install your own copy of Scalar through the River Campus Libraries' free Digital Scholar service. Sign up at digitalscholar.rochester.edu.
