Thank you for considering a visit to the River Campus Libraries with your High School Students! We look forward to collaborating with you. Please take a moment to fill out this Request Form so we can expedite scheduling your visit.
If you would like your students to be able to borrow books and other physical materials from the River Campus Libraries, please ensure they have been approved for the RRLC Access Pass (linked below). Please note, you will need to find your school on the RRLC Access Pass List and find out who the appropriate person is to approve their RRLC accounts.
Once they have received the RRLC Access Pass email (or you, on their behalf) only then can we create a borrower's card on our end. If you would like to speed that process, please have each student fill in our Borrower's Request Form (below) at least 48 hours in advance of your visit.
Students may bring their own devices or we can request a computer lab for your use (with enough advanced notice).
In either case, students will need a username and password to log into certain databases, which your coordinating U of R librarian will provide.
We encourage students to save the items they find by downloading them to a personal device, cloud location, or flash drive. After their visit, any access they had to our databases will expire. Please prepare your students by designating a location for this.
Danforth Dining Hall - Buffet style with various stations including salad, soup, and homestyle, among many others.
Douglass Dining Hall - Buffet style dining with various stations including salad, soup, and pizza, among many others.
The Pit - Cafeteria style dining with pizza, Asian fusion, build-a-bowl, and burger stations as well as a full salad bar. This is a good option if some of your students will bring and others will buy. (Prices vary)
Of course, you are always welcome to stop elsewhere for food or bring your own.
*None of our dining options are equipped to accept cash, and will only take credit/debit cards. Additionally, they do not do group invoicing in most cases. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
