Filters & Refinements options on the left side of the results page are used to narrow your search results to a more focused set of items.
Add results beyond your library's collection Checking the box allows user's to identify other books and articles on your topic not held by UR.
Sort by - Sort by - sort results by relevance, by date newest to oldest, by date oldest to newest, by title or by author.
Availability - Limit to items available online, peer-reviewed journals, open access materials, or only to items held in the library.
Content Type - limit by type such as articles, books, book chapters, datasets, images, videos, maps, etc.
Location - limit to Rush Rhees, Carlson Science Library, Sibley, etc.
Publication Date - limit by date of publication; use refine to customize the date range.
Language - limit to resources in a particular language. Check multiple boxes to select materials in more than one language and click "apply filters"
Subject Terms - limit to materials with a particular subject term. Click "Show more" to view all options.
Author - limit to resources by a specific author.
New Records - limit to materials added to the library's collection within the last week, month or past 3 months.
