- Description: Direct to Open (D2O) model: Collective action model built to support the open access publication of digital scholarly books from the MIT Press --monographs and edited volumes (90 books/year, on average)-- without book processing charges. Participant libraries and consortia also receive access to the MIT Press corresponding back-file (2,000 scholarly titles).

- Period: 3 years; monographs and edited scholarly works published in 2024 will be eligible when the model reaches the financial target.
