Important notice: Authors submitting a manuscript to IOPP are asked if they want an open access option during the submission process. At that point, it does not really matter what option they choose –although authors can always choose “NO” as the more cautious alternative. If/when the article is accepted, independently of their previous choice during the submission process, authors will receive an email from IOPP stating their eligibility for OA under an institutional agreement. At that point, authors can opt-in under the agreement, or they can opt-out, if they really do not want to publish open with a CC-BY license. More information on this link.
